Photovoltaic tiles were one of the highlights at Intersolar Europe. Among the companies that presented this type of photovoltaic solution was Meyer Burger Group.
The company presented its Meyer Burger Tile, made of N-type monocrystalline silicon with a secure MC4 standard connection and a 30-year warranty.
According to the manufacturer, Meyer Burger Tile is an optimized version of the innovative tile solution first presented in Intersolar Europe in 2021.
Also according to the company, the model offers high energy efficiency, as well as simple installation and maintenance. Another point highlighted by the manufacturer is that the tiles can be used on different roofs as they have variable lengths.
“Target applications for these rooftop-integrated solar systems are private rooftop systems with new or complete replacement roofs, properties in renovation and monument protection areas, or homes with limited roof loads,” the company added in a statement.
Asked about the availability of the equipment in the photovoltaic market, the company informed that the Meyer Burger Tile tiles will be delivered to the first selected reference customers from the second half of this year.
