The load of the National Interconnected System (SIN) is expected to reach 73.181 average MW in the month that starts tomorrow, which will correspond to a growth of 3,6% compared to the same period in 2022, informed the National System Operator (ONS), as per data from the April Operation Monthly Program (PMO), released this Friday (31).

Forecasts indicate that the North (+15%) and South (+12,7%) submarkets will drive this growth, totaling 6.750 average MW and 13.031 average MW, respectively. The Northeast should increase 1,0% (11.602 average MW), while the lowest growth is in the Southeast/Central-West, with a variation of 0,3% (41.798 average MW).

The hydroelectric reservoirs will remain full throughout the month of April, with a maximum storage level above 80% in three submarkets: Southeast/Central-West (85,7%), Northeast (89,9%), North (82,3, 77,7%), and South with XNUMX%.

Rain will continue to be abundant at least in the Southeast/Central-West and North submarkets, with forecast inflows of 92% and 118% of the Long Term Average (MLT), respectively. In the South and Northeast, inflows will be 65% and 36% of the MLT, respectively.

Given these energy supply conditions, the Marginal Cost of Operation (CMO) remains zero in all submarkets for the week of April 1st to 7th
