Nextron, a subscription solar energy climate tech, is expanding its operation to the Northeast and Central-West regions, more specifically in the states of Bahia, Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte, Mato Grosso do Sul and Goiás, in addition to the Federal District.
By the end of the year, the startup's goal is to reach more than 50 thousand customers in the country, including these new locations and operating states such as Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina and Paraná.
According to Ivo Pitanguy, CEO and founder of Nextron, the expansion aims to democratize access to solar energy without the need to install photovoltaic panels in homes and businesses.
The company signed an agreement with the Brazilian Association of Bars and Restaurants (Abrasel), in the states of Paraíba and Rio Grande do Norte, aiming to accelerate relationships with local customers.
In the Central-West, according to Nextron's CTO and founder, Roberto Hashioka, the expansion represents an opportunity for rural producers, who will be able to count on clean and efficient energy solutions to significantly reduce electricity bill costs.
The company also offers investment opportunities in renewable plants, allowing producers to diversify their businesses and contribute to the sustainable development of local agribusiness.
“In the region, we entered into a partnership with Amcham Brasil, a corporate community aimed at building strategic networking between companies, also aiming for agile expansion”, he concludes.
