A NTC Somar, manufacturer of metal structures for solar panels, participated in the sixth year of Intersolar South America, the largest event in Latin America for the solar energy sector.

During the three days of the exhibition, the company received partners and customers at the stand, where it highlighted new products and technologies facing the DG (distributed generation) and GC (centralized generation) segment.

According to the company, among the main innovations presented are the single-row and double-row tracker models, which promise to increase energy efficiency by up to 20% compared to fixed structures. The product was developed with a focus on functional benefits, such as commissioning and monitoring via Bluetooth, for example.

“We are excited to introduce the Somar NTC Tracker, which combines simplicity of installation with advanced technology,” said Paulo Gomes, Engineering Director from the manufacturer. “Our shock absorbers with ball joint and the ability to adapt to rough terrain guarantee robustness and performance, with a 25-year structural warranty.”

Soil structures

In addition to the trackers, the company presented two new lines of ground structures. One of them, the bifila line – with clamps fixed underneath the modules – was designed to eliminate the need for ladders during assembly, making the process safer and more efficient.

The second novelty in fixed structure was the Eco Smart line, aimed at land with slopes greater than 20 degrees, significantly reducing earthmoving costs and Capex for projects.

“At our stand, we showed that these solutions are ideal for areas that previously had a high implementation cost, bringing more economic viability to solar energy projects,” he explained. Emerson Garcia, Commercial Director of NTC Somar.

Internationalization and global expansion

With the aim of expanding its global presence, part of the company's team was recently at two of the largest international fairs in the sector: SNEC PV Power Expo, held in China, and the Intersolar Europe, which took place in Munich, Germany.

According to NTC Somar, these participations reinforce the commitment to staying up to date with global innovations and trends, in addition to expanding business opportunities and partnerships in the global market.

Strategic partnerships during Intersolar

The company strengthened its brand and customer relationships with the presence of its products at more stands. At the FiberX Renewables, visitors were able to check out samples of roofing and floor fasteners, while at the distributor's stand Go Solar, a panel highlighted NTC Somar as the official supplier of structures.
