In 2022, the JA Solar module shipments totaled more than 40 GW, a 16% share in share global, that is, in every six solar panels sold last year, one was from the brand. The survey was carried out by the manufacturer based on data from S&P Global, a company specialized in market research.

Also according to JA Solar, in 2022 there was a 181% increase in shipments to the country, compared to 2021. The company has been operating in Brazil since 2015, being attracted by the diversified energy matrix and Brazilian market potential.

“The high production capacity of the Chinese is also reflected in the ranking of installed power. Recent data from ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy) show China in first place in terms of power (306 GW), followed by the Americans (93 GW), Japanese (74 GW), Germans (58 GW) and Indians (49 GW)”, says the company.

“Our goal is to be number one in quality, performance and service for a lasting business relationship with partners and customers”, highlighted Fernando Castro, Country Manager Brazil at JA Solar.

In Brazil, JA has a complete service structure, integrating sales, after-sales, logistics and marketing to serve the DG (distributed generation) and GC (centralized generation) markets.

The office is located in Jundiaí (SP) in the Maxime Office Tower building, and has more than 10 professionals in the areas of sales, marketing, engineering, warehousing and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorizations) support.

About JA Solar

Headquartered in the capital Beijing, it operates factories throughout China, as well as in Malaysia and Vietnam, aimed at the American market. At the end of 2022, it had more than 32 thousand employees and 1.290 registered patents.

“With a verticalized operation and production chain, we control the entire process of R&D (research and development), acquisition, production, testing, shipping and transportation to guarantee high quality and performance in the products”, highlights the manufacturer.

The history of JA Solar started in 2005 by the efforts of Jin Baofang. The name JA comes from the initial of Jinglong Group, of which Baofang is the main shareholder. The letter A comes from Australia, as the brand was created through two Australian companies.
