O ONS (National Electric System Operator) and the Brazil-Germany Cooperation for Sustainable Development will carry out the Workshop presentation of the results of the study “Evaluation and Diagnosis of the Solar Irradiance Forecast System and Photovoltaic Solar Generation of Mini and Microgeneration Systems (MMGD). "

O study is supported by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), of the MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy) and is financed by BMZ (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development).
O The objective of the study is to improve the load forecasting models used by the ONS, due to the accelerated growth of photovoltaic solar generation in Brazil. During the workshop, experts will present the results of the study and discuss the prospects for the evolution of solar forecasting systems in Brazil.
