A Embatec, a company specialized in industrial wooden packaging, is saving around R$9 thousand per month after installing a solar power plant of 84,48 kWp.
Located in Manaus (AM), the system has a average generation of 10.500 kWh per months. The project was carried out by Energy Criteria and has 192 photovoltaic modules and a Growatt 75 kW 380 V MAX inverter.
Second Jhordan Dias, Operations Director at Criteria Energia, project performance has been exceptional. “The development is well ventilated due to being close to the river and the sunshine in Manaus as a whole is above average, so the performance has always been between 110 and 120% of what was projected and what normally happens in the city".
Because of this, the client had a faster than expected return on investment. “It is a highly successful case. If not the best, it is one of the best projects in terms of financial return that we have,” he said.
The 75 kW and 380 V inverter, with multiple MPPTs, allowed better monitoring of the system, string generation behavior, and greater ease in checking for failures, dirt, shadowing and any behavior that could affect performance.

More project details
The plant was installed in a region with high sunshine and low rainfall, which contributes to its above-average performance. Embatec invested R$290 in the construction of the plant, which has been operating since August 2021, with a payback of approximately three years.
The savings provided by the system allowed improvements to the company's infrastructure, such as the renovation of the office and administrative sector. Embatec's consumption varies between R$8 and R$12 depending on the time of year and other factors.
Initially, the project was configured for an 80 kWp system, with the possibility of expansion, as the inverter is 75 kW from Growatt. After some reformulations and reduction of machinery, consumption dropped, generating credits that enabled remote self-consumption for the industry owners' apartment.
Recently, with regulatory changes and a reduction in the demand value, the company chose to contract part of the load demand and generation demand, allowing the expansion of the system to maximize the inverter and taking advantage of the high insolation to send energy to the apartment or other areas. activities.

Excellent
….reading here….. with 192 modules, the savings is R$9.000,00 reais per month??? I am an installer/integrator and I know that this saving does not happen with 84,48kWp…
