Risen Energy announced an important step in its commitment to technological and educational development in Brazil. The company participated in the installation of a new experimental solar plant at Unicamp (State University of Campinas), one of Latin America's leading educational and research institutions.
The project is the result of a strategic partnership between Risen, MTR Solar, Sungrow and VGR Energy, with the aim of promoting applied research, innovation in the solar sector and the training of qualified professionals for the national photovoltaic market.
As part of its contribution, the Manufacturer donated its HJT modules – recognized, according to the company, for their high efficiency, durability and superior performance even in challenging weather conditions.
The panels will be used in conjunction with inverters supplied by Sungrow, fixed structures and trackers donated by MTR Solar and engineering by VGR Energy, responsible for assembling the plant.

"This plant, in partnership with Unicamp and MTR, represents an important step forward for the sector. By donating our modules, Risen contributes not only to power generation but also to research, development, and training," said Ricardo Marchezini, Country Manager of Risen Energy Brazil.
"The project's main objective is to train students and professionals interested in the sector, in addition to generating valuable data on the system's performance, demonstrating the quality and efficiency of our modules," he emphasized.
The plant will be operated by the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Unicamp, allowing teachers, researchers and students to carry out in-depth studies on operational, environmental and technical variables.
According to the company, the knowledge generated should result in significant advances in design, materials, and support systems, driving more efficient solutions adapted to Brazil's climate reality.
