The Legislative Assembly of Roraima approved Bill No. 263, which obligates the concessionaire Roraima Energia to disclose, every six months, data on the capacity of its substations for connecting distributed generation systems. The initiative follows the guidelines of... ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) on transparency and access to information.
O textThe bill, authored by Congressman Jorge Everton (União Brasil), mandates that the information be public, clear, and auditable, made available on the concessionaire's official website and monitored by Procon (consumer protection agency).
"When information is clear, investors plan better and consumers avoid losses," said Everton.
The law stipulates that the data must include the total installed capacity of each substation, the amount currently committed, the existence of connection request queues, and forecasts for infrastructure expansion or reinforcement.
Compliance with obligations will be monitored by ANEEL, with support from Procon, and the information must be updated every six months.
