The new weekly newsletter from InfoLink Consulting, released this Thursday (18), on the price behavior of the photovoltaic production chain, showed that the average cost of modules Hjt (heterojunction) suffered a reduction of 3,2% compared to the previous week: from US$ 0,160/W to US$ 0,155/W.

The study shows that the values of other modules, such as monofacial and bifacial PERC, remained unchanged during the period and without major fluctuations, as well as TOPCon and N-Type products.

The only exception was Australian 182mm and 210mm single-facial PERC modules, which fell 4,2% in the last week.

Polysilicon

For another week, the price of polysilicon remained trading at US$21/kg. The consultancy also pointed out that rumors have emerged about small fluctuations or rebounds, but due to the current scenario, the price range for February depends on the outcome of negotiations between sellers and buyers.

Cells

As the consultancy's forecast indicated, the price of cells remained stable this week. The price of P-type cells remains at around US$0,052/W. Meanwhile, N-type cells are priced at US$0,062.

The consultancy also indicates that the price of the input tends to grow slowly, but highlighted that this will still depend on accessibility for producers of photovoltaic modules.

Chinese Currency

Regarding prices in Chinese currency (Yuan), changes were also few. There was a small increase in prices for 182mm P-type cells, around 2,7%.

Additionally, the report noted a 2% drop in TOPCon cells. The changes, however, were not significant enough to impact the price in dollars, given the appreciation of the North American currency in relation to the Chinese.
