According to data from the ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), the residential segment is the first among the photovoltaic DG (distributed generation) consumption classes, totaling around 4 GW of installed power.

Amid this scenario, more and more personalized solutions are emerging to optimize energy consumption in homes and further leverage this market. How does the franchise Connected House is offering.

The company's project transforms homes into environments where technology makes residents more comfortable, automating lighting, sound, cameras and air conditioning, in addition to an integrated photovoltaic system.

“We realized that there was a very strong synergy between home automation and photovoltaic systems and, therefore, we included WDC Solar brand products in the Casa Conectada portfolio,” said the company in a statement.

“We noticed tremendous interest in new franchisees, as the distributed generation market is growing a lot, and new homes are interested in being more sustainable, generating their own energy”, they highlighted.

Casa Conectada highlighted that it is the only franchisor that adds solar plants with electronic security and home automation systems. “We combine technologies that complete the needs of a residence.”

“We have, for example, home theater and ambient sound systems, we offer motorized curtains, and with this we associate solar photovoltaic generation, thus completing an ecosystem of cutting-edge technology in the home”, they emphasized.

Projects

Among the projects installed is the Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva store, located in São Paulo. In addition to internet and telephone, to serve employees, they have a 12 kWp WDC plant to reduce electricity costs.

In 2019, the company purchased a distributor specializing in home automation and started several partnerships with renowned manufacturers in the international market: Fibaro, Yamaha, Samsung, and also developed its own brand, Easy4home.

How did Casa Conectada come about?

According to the franchise, the initiative arose from the realization that in Brazil there is no standardization of home automation projects, and this is an extremely important market in other countries.

“After the pandemic it became even more significant, since people now work and spend much more time at home. We realized that there was a gap in this segment and decided to create a franchise called Casa Conectada. We registered this brand and started the project, looking for partners throughout Brazil”, they concluded.
