A Qn-Solar announced that it obtained a increase de 70%. in the marketing of photovoltaic modules in the first half of 2023, compared to the same period last year.

The company comes expanding their business to several markets beyond China and saw a boost in business in the European market, generating more than 100 MW em orders in the first six months.

“We are excited to continue our growth as a leading photovoltaic manufacturer and expand our global presence with plans to build factories outside of China,” said Stephen Cai, president and co-founder of Qn-Solar.

“Qn-Solar is committed to providing excellent service and support to our customers. With logistics, technology and other local service teams in Europe and Brazil, we are best equipped to meet the needs of local customers and offer them the best experience possible”, he highlighted.

Recently, the company applied for several certifications from different countries to endorse its products and further expand its business scenario. Furthermore, they participated in several fairs in the second half of this year, including Intersolar South America, held in August in São Paulo (SP).

TOPCon cells

On September 19, 2023, Qn-Solar celebrated its third anniversary with an event in Xinyi, Jiangsu, celebrating the first year of production of high-efficiency TOPCon N-Type solar cells.

Local government officials, who have oversight responsibilities for Qn-Solar's production facilities, as well as executives from the company's seven main manufacturing bases, overseas offices and more than 300 participants gathered.

Jack Ren, founder and president of the company, spoke about the manufacturer's three-year journey. “We established four main goals: commitment to national strategies; intensify focus on key business sectors; improve domestic production and local market engagement; and promote the well-being of all parties involved.”

In 2021, for example, the Xinyi facility transitioned from contract signing to site establishment and then production line setup in just 121 days.

In 2022, the Dangyang facility reached production capacity in less than 150 days. Already in 2023 the facility in Baotou went from the start of construction to official production in 50 days.

Expansion in China

To elevate its market position and reach, Qn-Solar has launched seven strategic solar manufacturing centers across the country. They have also established a comprehensive production network ranging from Xinyi in Jiangsu to Baotou in Inner Mongolia and from Dangyang in Hubei to Dongzhi in Anhui.

Product portfolio

Among the company's featured products is the Pioneer series, featuring the Pioneer No. 3 TOPCon N-Type rectangular module, manufactured using low-temperature welding, precise non-destructive cutting and dense encapsulation.

According to Qn-Solar, the panel reaches a peak power of 615 W and efficiency of 22,8%, with primary offerings at 605 W, improving the cost-benefit ratio.

About Qn-Solar

The manufacturer is present in Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America and South America. In October this year, they highlighted that the production capacity of photovoltaic cells and modules reached 69 GW and 39 GW, respectively.
