O CD (distribution center) of solar energy generators Renew in Jaboatão do Guararapes (PE) went into operation this Wednesday (01), with a ceremony between company leaders, branch employees and external guests.

Announced at the end of last year, the Pernambuco unit is Renovigi's third in Brazil – the other two are in Navegantes (SC) and Louveira (SP) – and arrives to serve the growing photovoltaic market in the Northeast.

In the unit, the equipment assembly and distribution for installation companies, reducing the delivery time within five days for the North and Northeast regions.

For Guilherme Costa, executive manager at Renovigi, the new center will improve distribution logistics for the region, which represents 20% of the company's revenue.

“By reducing travel, we gain in efficiency, reduction of possible transport breakdowns and also proximity to our accredited companies and end customers in the region”, he highlighted.

According to Costa, the region has high growth potential for photovoltaic energy, precisely because it has the highest solar incidence rate in the country. “Solar energy is relatively new in the country.”

“We are seeing this market mature, and the regulatory framework for distributed generation (Law 14.300) will bring more legal security to consumers. Last year we had record growth, a considerable evolution compared to 2021. The trend is that in 2023, this increase will continue linearly”, he concluded.
