In order to offer more flexibility and a wider variety of equipment, Renovigi Energia Solar has launched the Reno 37.5 K-HC. According to the company, the equipment is ideal for projects to expand solar energy systems and complement its portfolio.

According to Caio Bortolotto Cunha, Product Development analyst at Renovigi, the Reno 37.5 K-HC brings a new alternative for Renovigi customers, especially the minigeneration market.

“The new 37,5 kW power inverter has a higher input current of 16 A, which makes it compatible with higher power modules, in addition to having a DC overload of 60%, supporting up to 63.800W in photovoltaic modules”, informs the company.

Also according to Renovigi, the inverter was designed following international grid connection standards and safety and electromagnetic compatibility requirements.

The equipment has protection against electric arcs, IP66, anti-corrosion level C5 and is fully protected against dust penetration and contact with internal parts of the casing; Salt spray or powerful jets of water also do not have harmful effects on the equipment.

“In addition to being a great complement to the portfolio, this model can compose a 75 kW solution, using two RENO 37.5K-HC inverters, which will support up to 127,6 kW of DC overload”, explained Cunha.

Systems expansion

According to Renovigi's executive manager, Guilherme Costa, the new product was designed to meet the demand of accredited companies looking for this power in projects to expand systems already installed.

“We have begun a new phase at Renovigi, with the launch of our own brand modules and a greater variety of equipment aimed at serving the most varied generation systems. The idea is to always be ahead of the market, offering a complete solution for our accredited companies”, explained Costa.

This is the case, for example, of KD Infoeletric, a company from Alagoas that carried out the expansion of two projects in which the new inverter would fit like a glove.

One of them was a mini-generation plant for a trade and metals industry, which had an average expense of R$33 thousand, and today, it started paying R$6,5 thousand. The initial system was installed with 314 modules of 445 Wp, a 40 kW inverter and a 60 kW inverter. With the increase in industry demand, an expansion was made with another 202 545 Wp panels and a 75 kW inverter.

The other, microgeneration, was made for a high-end residential project in Maceió, which with an average consumption of 6.000 kWh/month, had a cost of around R$6.600 on the electricity bill.

The first system was made with 48 430 Wp panels and a 20 kW inverter. The leisure area required an expansion of the system, which was made with 26 panels of 445 Wp, 14 of 545 Wp and three 5 kW inverters.
