SENAI Pernambuco inaugurates this Monday (20) SENAI Park, an innovation and technology hub installed in the Suape Port Industrial Complex, in Ipojuca, Metropolitan Region of Recife.

The space was created with the aim of transforming ideas into industrial solutions, housing strategic projects that unite companies, universities and research centers.

Among the ongoing initiatives, the highlight is the development of a national prototype of a low-voltage lithium battery (12V and 48V), aimed at hybrid vehicles.

The project involves major industry names such as Moura, Stellantis, Volkswagen, Iochpe Maxion, and Horse. The goal is to create a competitive product with tropicalized technology and domestic production.

In parallel, the park also houses a project to digitize the sustainable hydrogen production chain, in partnership with Siemens, White Martins, Hytron, Compesa, and CTG Brasil. Together, the two projects represent a combined investment of R$100 million, with an estimated additional R$200 million raised in the coming years.

SENAI Park occupies an area of 1,4 hectares next to the Suape administrative headquarters and was designed in a modular and adaptable way, allowing each new project to have its own infrastructure and independent schedule.

The complex includes pilot plants, a production line battery production, 100 kW electrolyzer, storage tanks, fuel cell and fueling station hydrogen vehicles.

The park consolidates the institution's role as a strategic partner of the industry, reinforcing its mission of supporting the modernization and competitiveness of the productive sector.

The choice of Suape is considered strategic, as the complex's industrial and logistical environment allows for synergy between innovation and economic development.

Linked to the SENAI Institute for Innovation in Information and Communication Technologies (ISI-TICs), the park was designed to bring technologies closer to commercialization, accelerating their practical application. The focus is on operationalizing technologies, training people, developing supply chains, and fostering business in areas of industrial innovation.

The inauguration marks a new stage in the strategy to consolidate the Suape industrial innovation cluster, created in 2022, and positions Pernambuco as one of the emerging hubs of the national technology industry.
