O Brazil It is one of world leaders in the market solar energy, occupying the 3th position in the ranking, according to 2023 data from SolarPower Europe.

The country went from 14 GW of installed power in 2013, to 43,3 GW by May 2024, according to the “Photovoltaic Solar Energy Infographic in Brazil” developed by ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association). Representing 18,6 % of the entire Brazilian energy matrix.

Furthermore, this is one of the sources of energy cheaper. Falling 31% in the one-year period between 2022 and 2023 and experiencing a 5% drop in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the last quarter of 2023 (from R$ 2,90/Wp to R$ 2,76/Wp).

Over the years, more and more segments have embraced solar energy: homes, businesses, industries, even TV stations, as is the case with TV network!, based in Osasco (SP), which adopted the use of BYD photovoltaic panels at your facilities.

The broadcaster now has clean energy, taking a step towards environmental sustainability, ceasing to emit 336 tonnes of carbon dioxide and saving 450 thousand reais per year.
