The data was highlighted in the report “Global solar PV tracker market share 2021”

The solar tracker sector in Brazil increased from 1992 MW in 2019 to 2788 MW of trackers, according to the “Global solar PV tracker market share 2021” report released by wood mackenzie.

“The photovoltaic solar energy market is maturing and expanding around the world, being the energy matrix considered for the coming decades, and we are happy to be able to follow this movement, bringing more and more technology and efficiency to the sector”, commented Javier Reclusa , CEO of STI Norland.

Among the companies that heated up this segment last year is the STI tracker manufacturer Norland. According to the report, the Spanish company led the Brazilian market share ranking in 2020, increasing its share from 39% to 70%.

“Of course, we were apprehensive about what would happen, but from the beginning we designed strategies with what was within our reach and focused on continuing with our deliveries, dedicating time and attention completely to each project. The result was very positive and we managed to go through this year exceeding our expectations”, he added.

The executive attributes these results to the efforts made by his team and the growing interest of the world's population in this type of energy. “Certainly, recognitions like these show us that the team's efforts are in the right direction, which motivates us to continue improving and expanding the business. Even with the challenges faced in the last year, around the world, STI Norland continues to maintain its pace to offer everyone who has realized the potential of solar energy as a source of renewable energy”, he concluded.
