Manufacturer SolarEdge announced the launch of its optimized residential solution in the Brazilian photovoltaic market with a single-phase inverter with HD-Wave technology. The product, which is certified by Inmetro, is now available through the brand's distributors.
“Ecori already has kits ready for delivery and we will run a promotion. Our working stock is expected to be shipped to Brazil next month, with arrival scheduled for June,” said the company's president, Leandro Martins.
According to the Israeli manufacturer, the single-phase inverter had the size of its magnetic components reduced through advanced digital processing. As a result, the product is smaller and lighter, making it easier to transport and store.
The new solution allows residential systems to use power optimizer technology. According to the company, each solar panel is managed independently, which can provide greater energy production, design flexibility, as well as enhanced safety due to the brand's integrated SafeDC technology.
For Tomer Koren, Regional Manager for SolarEdge in Latin America, the arrival of the new product in the country is a milestone for the company. “We are happy to bring this technology to Brazil to foster the growth of the local photovoltaic market. Delivering more value across the entire PV supply chain, this solution helps make solar energy accessible to more homes and helps installers increase their competitiveness,” said Koren.
