A Solis announced that it is present at Intersolar Summit Brasil Nordeste, which takes place this Tuesday (18th) and the 19th, at the Ceará Events Center, located in the city of Fortaleza.

During the event, they will present the company's latest generation of residential inverters, the S6-GR1P(2.5-6)KS. This series of products support higher photovoltaic module input current and, at the same time, it features a new, lighter design, and is also integrated with AFCI protection.

“The energy system in the Northeast region of Brazil is very complex, and inverters are required to have a greater capacity to resist shocks to the grid. To adapt perfectly to this, our product line also supports remote parameter adjustments”, explained Desheng Lei, Country Manager Brazil at Solis.

The company will also launch products for plants and industrial and commercial complexes in Brazil. For the C&I market, 10 kW to 110 kW products support higher power panels (above 600 W).

For utility scale, new models above 255 kW will be introduced. “In addition, we will launch our latest generation of photovoltaic energy storage products, including off-grid storage and grid-connected (hybrid) products,” said the executive.

About Solis

Present in Brazil since 2012, Solis supplies more than 40 models of string inverters (from 700 W to 255 kW) and the energy storage products (batteries) sold in the country already exceed 4 GW of installed power.

Each region has its own policies and requirements, such as different voltages. Therefore, the company stated that it adapted to meet these differences. The voltage range of the products includes 127V, 220V, 380V, 480V, 600V and 800V.

“We are one of the first companies to supply 220 V low voltage three-phase products in Brazil, with product solutions ranging from 15 kW to 75 kW. At the same time, our EPM solution can also meet the requirements of special projects in Brazil,” Lei highlighted.

“Our 125 kW and 250 kW plants are also popular with Brazilian customers because the products support a higher overload rate,” he added.

Solar energy market in Brazil

The Brazilian market offers a series of advantages for the use of solar energy, such as the presence of sunshine all year round and the desire to save on electricity bills by investing in sustainable energy. In the country, the sector is developing very quickly, with an average annual growth rate of more than 40%.

However, Desheng Lei clarified that there are some challenges: “Mainly involving product standards and certification, conditions and rules for connecting to the network, among others.”

“Solis has extensive experience in photovoltaic development in the global market and can provide application solutions for different scenarios. Therefore, we remain full of confidence in the Brazilian segment as a whole”, he reported.

To serve the market in Brazil, the company established six service points, covering the entire territory, in addition to a maintenance center in Campinas (SP), to help customers resolve after-sales problems more quickly and at low cost.

With the aim of helping with research and development, testing and certifications in the field of photovoltaic energy in the country, Solis has also established cooperative relationships with many scientific research institutions and universities, including Unicamp and UFSC.

“In the short term, our goal is to provide customers with high-quality, excellent products and services. In the long term and from a global energy perspective, our goal is to provide independent, clean and reliable renewable energy to our Brazilian customers”, concludes the Solis executive.
