A SSM is undergoing a reengineering process in all its areas. And one of the areas under development and with great potential is the product portfolio. For 2024, the manufacturer is launching eight new ground structures and six lines of carports.

Among the highlights are the steel structures, standard single-post and two-post or east-west structures, in addition to being composed of steel and aluminum parts.

According to the company, the classification of structures is determined by the number of lines of photovoltaic panels that each one covers, characteristics of the terrain and isopleth of the region, and it is important to note that the angular adjustment can be modified, reaching inclinations of up to 30°.

Below are the other structures announced by the company.

  • SMB002 and SMB003: mixed structures, two-post and composed of steel and aluminum parts. They serve two to three lines of photovoltaic panels and have tilt adjustment from 5° to 30° on the French hand. The model is the conventional standard, but an adjustment was made to standardize the spans according to isopleth, drastically reducing the foundation cost;
  • SAM001 and SAM002: 100% steel structures, single posts and composed of cold-formed profiles. They serve one to two rows of modules and have tilt adjustment from 5° to 30° on the French hand. New model, standardization adjustment of gaps, only aluminum accessories;
  • SAB002 and SAB003: 100% steel structures, bi-posts and composed of stiffened profiles (UE). They serve two to three lines of photovoltaic panels and have tilt adjustment from 5° to 30° on the French hand. New model, standardization adjustment of gaps, only aluminum accessories.

New carport line

Regarding the new carport line, SSM is making the SSM Standard 2 or 3 line models available to the market, related to a standard format; SSM Classic, used in the sense of something typical; SSM Elite, improved vehicle handling capability; SMM Premium, with higher or higher quality; and SSM Infinity, considered high standard.

Three types of steel

Another point highlighted by SSM refers to the types of steel they have in their portfolio. Are they:

  • S350GD – ZM 310: special alloy with zinc without the need for hot-dip galvanization, helping the environment by reducing chemical processes;
  • ZAR 345/Z275: steel alloy with pre-galvanization, reducing delivery lead time. It is recommended for environments without sea weather;
  • Civil 300: structural steel for construction subsequently hot-dip galvanized with high resistance to corrosion according to NBR 6323 and NBR 14561.

Mechanical and civil sizing

Finally, the company emphasized the mechanical and civil sizing services they offer to customers. Below are the characteristics of each one.

Mechanic

  • Recalculated load center for better distribution according to the variety of module models on the market;
  • Easy-to-configure angulation adjustment on the French hand, generating global stability without changing the load;
    Reformulated connection splices, providing greater mechanical resistance and facilitating assembly.

Civil law

  • Standardization of fixed spans/ballasts, making the foundation process standardized and reducing application failures, in addition to reducing civil costs;
  • Easy-to-configure angulation adjustment on the French hand, generating global stability without changing the load;
  • Civil work monitoring services if the client requests it during the acquisition.

Live in partnership with Canal Solar

This Tuesday (30), SSM will participate in a live in partnership with the Canal Solar with the following theme: “How to generate added value when choosing photovoltaic structures?”.

Check out the chat broadcast live on YouTube from Canal Solar with the participation of Reinaldo Prats Junior, Director of Operations at SSM.

    My dear, after all, how many modules can be installed in each unit?
