A Suntech Power officially announced a framework agreement with Rodopi, a company in the renewable energy sector, which aims to expand his Portfolio of business in solar.

According to the terms of the contract, Suntech must to provide a total of 300 MW in modules per year. Among the projects that will be supported is a 12 MW photovoltaic plant in Italy.

A Solar TCO, owner of the project and specialist in technical and commercial operations for industrial-scale plants in France, Germany and Italy, is looking for an alternative for partial (3,4-12 MW) or total (12 MW) replacement of the panels due to damage caused by hail in northern Italy.

The company's objective is to maximize the use of renewable sources, benefiting both the economy and ecology. “We exclusively chose Suntech Power as our module supplier due to their unmatched professionalism and unwavering support,” highlighted the Mr. Gündogdu, Business Unit Manager at Rodopi Solar.

Suntech Power Portfolio

Suntech said it has consistently prioritized scientific and technological innovation. The manufacturer's components are already being used in several projects, including in Italy and Frankfurt, Germany, with the C72Nsh+ and C54Nshkm+ models.

The C72Nsh+ module, equipped with 182 mm wafers and TOPCon N-Type technology, has an efficiency of over 25,5%. According to the company, the product offers an increase in cell efficiency of more than 1,5% compared to PERC cells, with higher power generation than PERC by 3 to 4% due to a low temperature coefficient.

Furthermore, they highlighted that the equipment presents a 15% greater bifacial gain and minimal degradation (1% in the first year and 0,4% thereafter), guaranteeing greater revenue for the customer.

The C54Nshkm+ double glass panel, also with TOPCon technology, achieves an efficiency rate of approximately 22,5%, with an output power of up to 440 W and a unit area output power of up to 266 W/m².
