TBEA and CUBE ENERGY have formalized a partnership focused on the development and supply of BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems). The total capacity could reach up to 2.4 GWh, intended for projects that will be presented at the 2026 Reserved Capacity Auction (LRCAP Storage).

According to the companies, the cooperation has a special focus on projects located in the southern region of the country. The objective is to promote high-performance solutions to expand power availability, strengthen the stability of the SIN (National Interconnected System), and support the expansion of electrical infrastructure with advanced storage technologies.

By combining CUBE ENERGY's expertise in the development, implementation, and operation of energy projects with TBEA's global expertise in the manufacture and integration of BESS systems, the partnership establishes a solid foundation for more competitive bids in the auction. The initiative also boosts large-scale projects, positioning the Southern Region as the largest cluster in Brazil for LRCAP Storage.

CUBE ENERGY also has the support of RCap-Asset, an alternative asset manager specializing in private equity, structured transactions, and private credit. The company monitors CUBE ENERGY's movements in the electrical infrastructure market, strengthening its capacity for financial structuring and project execution.

The agreement provides for preferential supply conditions, engineering support, and ongoing cooperation between the teams, strengthening both companies' ability to deliver robust, efficient solutions aligned with regulatory and market demands.
