TBEA, a Chinese company with strong capabilities in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) of solar photovoltaic energy, power electronics, and systems integration, has been listed among the leading global players in utility-scale solar.

According to the recently published report “Global utility-scale solar PV EPC market, 2025”, by S&P Global, the company achieved the 10th position worldwide in installed capacity in EPC projects for centralized ground-mounted power plants, also occupying the 6th position among corporations in China.

The recognition reflects the organization's ability to deliver large-scale solar projects, encompassing engineering execution, supply chain coordination, and systems integration.

As utility-scale plants become larger and more complex, the industry demands from suppliers not only construction capacity, but also strong reliability in execution, technical integration, and comprehensive support throughout the operational lifecycle.

In addition to company performance, the document mapped relevant structural trends for the global photovoltaic EPC market. Key highlights include the growing market concentration among leading companies and the significant advancement of hybrid projects, which combine solar generation and energy storage.

This move reinforces the importance of integrated engineering capabilities, operational robustness, and experience in delivering hybrid systems.

With a history of working on large-scale projects in different markets and operating conditions, TBEA seeks to maintain its focus on strengthening its capabilities to support solar and solar-plus-storage projects on a global scale.
