The JF1 plant, located in Juiz de Fora (MG), can achieve savings of up to 30% in maintenance costs, mainly in cleaning. According to Gustavo Ramos, owner of the plant, this result is due to the use of ZNShine Solar modules.

He comments that the technology applied to the company's panels guarantees a considerable reduction in O&M (Operation and Maintenance) costs. “We wash the panels once a year, which is enough to keep the plant’s generation at its peak. The fact that the panels are self-cleaning contributes a lot, because when it rains in the region where the plant is located, we notice that part of the dirt is washed off the panel quite easily'', reports Ramos.

Derek Wang, Chief Commercial Officer of Znshine Solar, highlights that the company’s panels have graphene coating, which facilitates cleaning and provides greater energy generation, helping to reduce the operating and maintenance costs of a photovoltaic plant in solar projects.

Furthermore, it highlights that graphene modules still have photocatalytic properties, which accelerates the decomposition of organic materials, reducing the risks of hot-spot the panel.

“The double-glass photovoltaic module holds the exclusive patent for self-cleaning with a graphene coating and its technology increases energy production by around 2% due to the optimization of the absorption of near-infrared rays”, explains Wang.

Znshine

According to ZNShine, in Brazil more than 10 plants were set up with the company's modules. Among them is the JF1 plant, which has 19.402 photovoltaic modules. The company covers more than 80 countries and regions through its sales and support network of more than 30 subsidiaries worldwide.

In addition to Brazil, a plant located in Santiago, Chile, with 8.323 photovoltaic modules, also has nanotechnology that prevents dirt from accumulating on the panel and significantly reduces O&M costs.
