Tigo Energy today launched the Tigo TS4-AS, an industry-leading monitoring device for solar modules up to 700W. The device is part of the company’s portfolio of MLPE (Module-Level Power Electronics) solutions, which also includes the TS4-AF and TS4-AO products for optimization, monitoring and fire safety.

The TS4-AS provides a solution for solar installers who have a minimal need for optimization due to lack of shade or other module incompatibilities, but want to maximize site uptime, minimize operation and maintenance (O&M) costs and enhance the owner experience. All of the manufacturer's items feature Tigo EI (Energy Intelligence) software.

“Nothing hurts solar installers’ profitability more than unnecessary truck trips,” said Cathal McCarthy, director of customer service at Tigo Energy.

“The TS4-AS with Energy Intelligence monitoring is a cost-effective way to ensure first responders are safe with rapid shutdown and reduce operation and maintenance cost with a next-generation monitoring platform,” he added.

“Tigo believes in the importance of a Selective Optimization tool that will bring better service to the end consumer by the integrator, creating a project that exclusively meets the customer’s needs, thus saving investment and increasing its return”, highlighted Manoel Monteiro, Sales Manager Brazil at Tigo.

According to the company, the Tigo EI software allows installers to manage photovoltaic systems, in addition to helping to resolve customer problems with operations and maintenance of all its components on site.

The new high-power Tigo TS4-AS Flex MLPE 700W will be available for purchase from August 30, 2021. Interested parties should contact the Tigo sales team at company website. See technical information about the device here TS4-AS.
