TSUNESS released a clarification note regarding the article published by Inmetro, which identified irregularities in photovoltaic modules sold in Brazil.

In the report, the Regulatory Body mentions the Tsun Power brand solar panel – which raised doubts among professionals in the sector who sought TSUNESS for clarification.

The company reinforced that, despite the similarity in names, they are completely different entities, with independent operations.

Check out the full note below.

On 28/11/2024, Inmetro published the article “Inmetro inspection identifies irregularities in solar panels sold in Brazil”. In this report, Inmetro mentions the TSUN brand solar module and some people have contacted us since then expressing doubts.

We clarify that the company TSUNESS CO LTD (TSUNESS brand of microinverter) does not have any corporate, commercial or productive relationship with the company JIANGSU RIO SOLAR TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD (TSUN POWER brand of solar module). Although the brands have similarity in the trade name, they are completely different companies and operations.

TSUNESS CO LTD is a Chinese company 100% focused on the development, manufacturing and marketing of microinverters in powers from 300 W to 6 KW and energy storage systems.

In China, Europe and other regions we have the TSUN and TSUNESS brands registered. In Brazil, we operate only with the TSUNESS brand and only with microinverters. In the country, the operation is under the management of Mr. Victor Curi Segato. TSUNESS does not manufacture solar modules.

TSUNESS CO LTD's trajectory has always been marked by an absolute commitment to product quality. We strictly meet all technical requirements of regulatory agencies in the more than 30 countries where we operate, including Inmetro.

All of our microinverters have already been approved by the most recent Inmetro 515/2023 regulation. We serve all of our partners with excellence, from the collection of goods at our factories to the installation, including technical support to distributors and installers (integrators) and meeting local and international standards and regulatory requirements. Our factories are ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001:2024 and ISO45001:2018 certified.
