A distributor Alumifix Solar, based in Curitiba (PR), partner of DMEGC Solar, sent two random samples of the brand's photovoltaic modules to rigorous tests at IEE-USP (Institute of Energy and Environment of the University of São Paulo).
According to the company, the panels tested showed a power almost 2% higher than nominal, meeting the standards of Inmetro Ordinance No. 140, which establishes the minimum efficiency and safety requirements for modules sold in Brazil.
This regulation aims to ensure that products available on the market offer reliable performance and durability, contributing to the sustainable development of the solar energy sector in the country.
USP Institute of Energy and Environment
IEE-USP is a center of excellence in R&D (research and development) in the areas of energy and environmental sustainability. With advanced infrastructure and qualified staff, the institute carries out tests and certifications that guarantee the compliance of technological products with the most demanding standards in the segment.
Tests carried out at IEE-USP confirmed the superiority of DMEGC Solar panels, reinforcing confidence in the brand. “Obtaining these positive results is a significant milestone for the Brazilian market, especially with the new Inmetro Ordinance, which requires high standards of efficiency and reliability,” said Lucas Monteiro, senior engineer at DMEGC Solar.
Importance of partnership
William Santos, commercial director at Alumifix, emphasized that the agreement with DMEGC Solar is a clear example of how strategic collaborations can benefit the sector and end consumers.
“The partnership between DMEGC Solar and Alumifix is essential to delivering high quality modules to our partner integrators. This result reinforces our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction,”
According to the manufacturer, the random selection of samples from Alumifix's stock for testing highlights the consistency in product quality. The verification process ensures that the panels offered to customers maintain high levels of performance, providing greater efficiency and reliability in photovoltaic installations.
