The Brazilian photovoltaic market remains buoyant, driving several commercial agreements. The most recent partnership announced was between WDC Networks and Jinko Solar. With the commercial agreement, the panel manufacturer's products are now part of WDC's portfolio and will be among the first to be sold in the “as a Service” format.
The main objective of the partnership is to eliminate the cost of purchasing products, to pay for investments on a monthly basis and to allow for flexibility in contracts. The commercial agreement between the companies includes Jinko's recently launched Tiger Pro line of photovoltaic modules that use 182 mm cells.
According to the manufacturer, the Tiger Pro 60-cell Half-cell panels are for rooftop installations and serve the residential and commercial markets. Also according to Jinko, the Tiger Pro 72-cell panels are intended for industries and mainly ground installations.
For Eduardo Gama, Sales Manager at Jinko, the partnership is strategic for strengthening the brand and for the development of the Brazilian photovoltaic market. “There is certainly great potential to grow well above the market average in 2021. Distributors are our commercial arm, together with installers and consumers”, says the executive.
“We are looking for solid and financially healthy companies, with logistical efficiency and capable of meeting market needs with products, solutions and technical support. Our expectation is that installers and customers will receive a very high quality service”, adds Gama.
“We are excited and confident about this movement and we believe it will bring great opportunities for both companies in this market with a lot of growth potential in the coming years”, highlights André Luiz de Paula Souza, director of the WDC Solar division in Brazil.
WDC began operating in April last year in the distributed electrical energy generation market, producing domestic and professional solar energy generation kits.
“We believe that technology exists to improve people’s quality of life. The possibility of generating your own energy, reusing water, automating your home, increasing family security and now, working remotely, having quality broadband and using electric and autonomous transport vehicles are some of the transformations that have already begun and which will continue for the next few years”, highlights Vanderlei Rigatieri, CEO of WDC Networks.
