Solar Group intends to increase its operational capacity by up to 20%. This increase, according to Norberto Da Costa, the company's marketing and sales manager, is due to the investment of R$19 million made by the company.

The manufacturer, which delivered the equivalent of 2021 GW of capacity in Brazil in 1,3, expects to double its sales volume, reaching the equivalent of 2,5 GW of capacity this year.

To make this possible, the company will invest part of this amount in the production capacity of transforming aluminum from 800 tons per month into 1,5 thousand tons, increasing its number of workers when the factory is ready.

Solar Talk

During participation in the Solar Talk, podcast of Canal Solar, Norberto revealed that 2022 will be Solar Group's golden year, with exponential growth from the second half of the year onwards, mainly due to Law 14.300, which created the Legal Framework for GD in Brazil.

“We are forecasting exponential growth from the second half of the year. We have favorable signs for this, we have already spoken with distributors, integrators and our customers are all very optimistic that this year will be really good”, said Costa.

The executive also revealed that the company will have a big new feature: the company will start developing structures for ground plants. “The transition to soil [structures] is a natural transition. We at Solar Group see that we are not just a roof structure company, but a structure for everyone, which includes the ground.”

Costa also highlighted during the chat with the journalist Ericka Araújo that the company is prepared for the demand of the second half of the year. “We deal with planning and scheduling first. We already have a minimum stock to meet market growth. Furthermore, new containers are already arriving and to accompany the new press, in the new factory unit, we will triple our production capacity.”
