The operation marks another strategic step towards consolidating the manufacturer's position in the photovoltaic market, expanding its presence in the South region and strengthening its customer base.
With 2P's distribution center also located in Santa Catarina, the purchase represents a significant increase in the company's market share in the South region. This move demonstrates the company's commitment to the sector, evidenced by the investment made during a period of market restructuring – which reinforces the company's strategy to expand its operations and achieve even more solid growth.
“The Brazilian solar sector has faced ups and downs in recent years, with 2022 being a historic milestone as the best year for the segment. However, 2023 was challenging, impacting the revenue of several companies, including 2P. Even so, in 2024, the company recorded significant growth of 20% compared to 2022,” he said. João Dutra, director of 2P.
According to the executive, 2P projects a 20% growth in revenue by 2025, reinforcing its expansion trajectory. “The company is increasingly competitive in terms of costs, due to the optimization of processes and the development of new foreign suppliers.”
Another distinguishing feature he highlighted is the commitment and close work with integrators and installers in the solar market, constantly listening to their needs to offer increasingly better solutions. “More than providing fixing structures, we are dedicated to supporting integrators in other areas of the company, with the aim of growing together in an organized and sustainable way, reinforcing our role as a true strategic partner,” concluded Dutra.
With a complete portfolio and a clear growth strategy, 2P stated that it remains one of the protagonists in fixing structures for photovoltaic panels, in the roofing line, aiming at an even more promising future.
