A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) held a meeting last Tuesday (27) that authorized the opening of the public consultation to discuss the periodic tariff review of Amazonas Energia (AME).
Contributions can be sent until April 15th. The new values will come into force from May 26th.

According to data from the concessionaire Amazonas Energia, the percentage increase for residential consumers – B1 will be 0,97% on their energy bill; high voltage customers will see a reduction of -3,55%; and low voltage consumers an increase of 1,04%.
According to the agency, among the factors that most impacted the proposal to reduce tariffs, it is worth highlighting the costs of purchasing and distributing electricity.
