In an increasingly competitive market, where thermal performance, operational reliability, and intelligent monitoring have become decisive factors for integrators, photovoltaic inverter manufacturers have sought to expand the technological level of their equipment to meet the demands of the sector.
With this scenario in mind, Auxsol emphasizes that its line of inverters was developed to guarantee high efficiency even in severe weather conditions, in addition to offering solutions focused on ease of installation and advanced system monitoring.
Carlos Eduardo de Souza, Marketing Manager at AUXSOL and Nansen Solar, explains that the equipment was designed to maintain nominal performance even in regions with high temperatures.
"Our line of inverters was developed to operate with high efficiency even in high-temperature environments, maintaining nominal performance without generation losses in ambient temperatures up to 40°C," he stated.
He also highlights the thermal derating process adopted in the equipment, a protection mechanism that gradually reduces the inverter's power in situations of extremely high temperatures, preserving the integrity of the internal components and increasing the operational reliability of the system.
According to Souza, this power reduction begins gradually from 45°C. Even so, even in more severe scenarios, the inverters continue to operate normally.
Under extreme conditions, with ambient temperatures up to 60°C, the equipment remains operational, potentially reaching up to 60% of its nominal capacity.
Equipment cooling system
Souza also mentions the cooling system adopted in the equipment, in which the line features active ventilation to improve thermal control and increase operational reliability.
In single-phase models, inverters use internal fans, while three-phase equipment has both internal and external fans, increasing efficiency in heat dissipation.
According to the director, this system mechanism "helps circulate air inside the equipment, reducing the formation of hot spots in the internal components and contributing to greater stability, performance, and lifespan of the inverter," he said.
Digital solutions and intelligent monitoring
Furthermore, Nansen has also been investing in digital solutions to enhance the experience for integrators and end consumers. The manufacturer has its own monitoring platform, accessible via mobile app and web platform.
The solution allows for real-time monitoring of photovoltaic system performance, as well as facilitating equipment commissioning through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity and an open API, which enables integration with different platforms and monitoring systems used in the market. According to Souza, this prevents data loss and avoids the creation of "holes" in generation graphs, providing a more complete and accurate history for the user.
The company also highlights solutions geared towards applications in Grid Zero systems, a scenario that has been gaining ground in the market due to energy injection restrictions in various regions of the country.
“We aim to simplify the implementation of the Grid Zero function as much as possible, making installation more practical and accessible for both the integrator and the end customer. In single-phase lines, the function can be enabled using only one CT (Current Transformer), providing a simple and low-cost solution,” he explained.
"In the three-phase line, the configuration is achieved through a combination of current transformers (CTs) and a smart meter, ensuring greater precision in controlling energy export without sacrificing ease of installation. With this, we offer an efficient, reliable, and much more accessible solution for projects requiring control of injection into the grid," he concluded.
