Enel-SP announced a reinforcement of its Summer Plan 2025, focusing on improving customer service and mitigating the impacts of extreme weather events in its concession area.
The announcement came in the same week that the board of directors of ANEEL The National Electric Energy Agency (Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica) met to discuss the future of the distributor, responsible for supplying energy to 8 million customers in the city of São Paulo and in 23 other municipalities in the São Paulo Metropolitan Region.

Reinforcements and investments
According to the company, the plan includes strengthening teams and investing in technology and digitizing the electrical grid, with the goal of reducing response times to incidents and increasing the system's resilience during the summer.
Enel-SP announced a record investment of R$ 10,4 billion for the period from 2025 to 2027, mainly focused on modernizing the network, expanding remote reconnection capacity, and strengthening the electrical infrastructure.
Among the main measures announced are:
- Hiring and training 1,2 new professionals to strengthen field operations;
- Training of 124 motorcycle electricians and expansion of the fleet with more than 200 vehicles;
- Creation of four decentralized dispatch centers to improve logistics and response time;
- Completion of 448 preventive pruning operations by September, with a forecast to exceed 600 by the end of 2025;
- Opening of four new operational bases (in addition to the 17 already existing) by the end of November, in São Bernardo do Campo, Santo André, Vargem Grande Paulista and Santana de Parnaíba.
