Growatt achieved prominent positions in the 2024 global ranking of photovoltaic inverters, being ranked number 1 in the world in supplying residential inverters, top 3 in hybrids and top 5 for commercial applications.
The rankings are based on the recently released PV Inverter Market Tracker 2024, published by S&P Global Commodity Insights, a leading authority in market intelligence.
The current results represent an improvement over the company's performance in 2023, when it was named the second-largest supplier of residential inverters and one of the top five global suppliers of inverters overall.
“Being recognized by S&P Global as the top solar inverter brand in 2024 – especially as the No. 1 residential PV inverter in the world – is a true honor,” said Lisa Zhang, vice president of Growatt.
“This achievement is a reflection of strong partnerships, user trust, and the tireless dedication of our global team,” the executive emphasized.
David Ding, CEO of Growatt, added that this milestone is a milestone for the company's global network. "Together, we are building a more sustainable and resilient energy future."
Company portfolio
The company provides solutions to customers in over 180 countries. In the residential segment, its inverters feature high efficiency and advanced monitoring capabilities.
Regarding hybrid inverters, Growatt highlighted that it offers systems that integrate solar generation with energy storage, providing greater control, backup capacity, autonomy and energy resilience to users.
For the C&I (commercial and industrial) market, the manufacturer emphasized that it is constantly expanding its presence with solutions that help companies reduce energy costs and accelerate their carbon neutrality goals.
The energy storage systems from Growatt, designed for residential and commercial use, offer independence from the electrical grid and energy solutions adaptable to different scenarios.
Commitment to innovation, service and sustainability
Growatt stated that it continues to make robust investments in research and development, allocating 4,5% of its annual revenue to technological innovation.
The company maintains four R&D centers in Shenzhen, Huizhou, Xi'an and Germany, with a team of more than 1.100 engineers specializing in photovoltaic and storage technologies.
The company has also launched a variety of AI-powered tools, hybrid inverter storage systems, smart energy assistants, and advanced monitoring platforms.
To further strengthen support for global partners, the manufacturer has created a network of training centers, after-sales teams, and technical service hubs. "This local approach ensures that users across all continents receive fast and professional support," Growatt concluded.
