Representative Soane Galvão (PSB-BA) filed PL (Bill) 25407/2024, in Alba (Legislative Assembly of Bahia). The proposal institutes actions to incentive à production, use e generation de erenewable energy to be implemented throughout state territory. 

According to the text, the objective is to expand the energy offer de renewable sources, sustainability process, efficiency of production systems, the promotion da local economy and the generation of new business in agricultural sector da Bahia.

The PL suggests some measures to be adopted. Among them are the provision of financing for the acquisition of machinery and equipment and for the carrying out of works aimed at the production, use and generation of renewable energy and the creation and expansion of the scope of economic, financial and fiscal instruments. 

There is also a forecast of supply of the official vehicles of the State, as well as those belonging to the state fleet through rental, with a supply system biofuel (flex).

And finally, the broad disclosure de our promotions that stimulate a production, use e adoption of sources of renewable energy by consumers, producers, organizations and entities.

In justification, the deputy stressed the role of Brazil , the example in production of renewable energy, citing data from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency). According to the Agency's data, about 80% da brazilian electrical matrix originates from renewable sources.

Concerning Bahia, Soane highlighted the position of Featured of the state in the production of renewable energy, mainly in the areas of wind and solar energy. About 93% da capacity installed of the state in the generation of electrical energy comes from renewable sources.

The parliamentarian stated that Bahia currently has 296 wind farms in full operation. “In the context of an increasingly clean energy matrix, the benefits of renewable energy production go beyond strengthening productive segments and extend to society as a whole, providing the generation of jobs and income, as well as the development of municipalities” , she concluded.
