Metal Light has been expanding its presence in the photovoltaic market by investing in technology, automation, and production scale. With two manufacturing facilities—one dedicated to steel forming, with 50 m², and the other dedicated to galvanizing, with 30 m²—the company seeks to optimize the production of metal structures for power plants throughout the country.
According to Raphael Soeiro, Key Account Manager at Metal Light, the manufacturing process begins with the arrival of the steel coils at the rollforming machines, where the material undergoes shaping and receives the holes specified in the design. "This step is crucial to ensure agility and standardization, respecting each client's technical specifications," he explained.
For specific needs, the manufacturer also uses pulsators, equipment responsible for creating extra holes or special shapes. Furthermore, high-pressure bending machines complement the forming process, allowing for greater production flexibility and increased delivery capacity.

Another distinguishing feature of the operation, according to Soeiro, is the use of laser cutting machines, which offer precision for smaller parts. "We have equipment capable of cutting sheets up to half an inch thick, which expands our range of solutions and improves the finish of the components."
All formed material is stored at the company's distribution center, which holds over 11 MWp of structures ready for immediate delivery. "This strategic inventory allows us to handle projects quickly and reliably, reinforcing our commitment to excellence and deadlines in the solar industry," he concluded.
