The regions Northeast e Midwest in Brazil exceeded this week, respectively, the 4 GW and 3 GW mark of installed power in solar energy through solar energy systems GD (distributed generation).
This is what information extracted from SIGA indicates, database of the Generation Information System of ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).
No Northeast, are already more than 385 thousand systems installed in residences, facades and small and medium-sized plots of land, which together add up more than 566 thousand UCs (consumer units).
Now at Midwest are 239 thousand connections leading economy and sustainability for more than 304 thousand UCs.
According to the Agency, the locations with the highest installed power in solar DG in the Northeast are Teresina (PI), Fortaleza (CE) and Natal (RN), with 174 MW; 168 MW and 90 MW, respectively.
In the Central-West, the municipalities with the highest volumes are: Brasília (DF), Campo Grande (MS) and Cuiabá (MT), with 267 MW; 199 MW and 192 MW.
Power by state
Currently, the Brazil has more than 20,6 GW of installed power in systems of distributed micro and minigeneration. Altogether, there are more 1,9 million photovoltaic systems in operation in the country.
As regions that account for the largest volumes of power are the Southeast and South, with 6,74 GW and 5,57 GW, registered by ANEEL until 9 am this Tuesday (9). Next, the Northeast and Central-West appear, ahead of the North region (1,33 GW).
