The growth of DG (distributed generation) in Southeast region has been standing out in the solar sector. Currently, the region has around 9 GW of installed power and has more than 833 thousand UCs (consumer units) with photovoltaic systems, with the residential class being the leader in the segment. The data are from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).
Amid this scenario, the capital of São Paulo will host this Wednesday (6) and Thursday (7) the 22nd edition of the GD Forum – Southeast Region, organized by FRG Media & Events Group.
The event will discuss the expansion of GD in the region, the current bottlenecks for the solar energy market and what are the new technologies for the sector.
“We are analyzing a scenario in which the consumer is looking for alternatives to avoid high energy tariffs, the drop in the price of photovoltaic equipment and the reduction of interest rates, in addition to the offer of credit and other regulations”, he points out. Tiago Fraga, CEO of the FRG Mídias & Eventos Group
“So the result is greater demand for renewable energy, which combines sustainability and economy, being a great investment for those who join and a business opportunity for those involved”, added Fraga.
The Forum will take place at the hotel Blue Tree Villa, in Jardim Caravelas, from 8am to 18pm. Participants include confirmed suppliers, businesspeople, salespeople, investors and sector experts. The organization expects to generate more than R$300 million in business.
