Seminar will discuss challenges of renewable sources in SC and Brazil

Event will discuss the development of the photovoltaic sector in the country, in addition to PL 5829, which creates the GD Legal Framework

BRDE promotes Renewable Energy and Development Seminar

The event will feature the participation of Gustavo Müller Martins, president of Renovigi

The Renewable Energy and Development Seminar will be held on August 16, 17 and 18. The event aims to promote discussion on energy demands and the main challenges facing the sector to promote energy generation from renewable sources. The online seminar is promoted by BRDE (Regional Development Bank of the Far South). Interested parties can watch it on BRDE's YouTube channel.

The event will feature the participation of Gustavo Müller Martins, president of Renovigi, as well as speakers, representatives of the MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy), representatives of state agencies of Santa Catarina and entities in the solar sector, such as ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association).

Also during the seminar, the importance of regulation in the photovoltaic sector will be discussed, through Bill 5829/19, which creates the Legal Framework for DG (distributed generation), under discussion in the Federal Chamber. “It is important to participate in this event and show that the creation of a legal framework can provide legal security so that people and companies continue to invest in photovoltaic solar energy”, says Martins.

Recently, the company recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Ceará to install a factory and distribution center in the Port of Pecém, targeting the potential of the consumer market in the North and Northeast of Brazil. “We continue to envision partnerships to achieve even more positive results and stimulate the development of the distributed generation market,” comments the president of Renovigi.
