SOFAR Cloud: the new generation of energy monitoring and management arrives in Brazil.
Sofar/Press Release

Sofar is starting a new phase in the intelligent management of photovoltaic and storage systems in Brazil with the launch of... SOFAR CloudDeveloped internally by the company, the platform brings together advanced monitoring, remote operation, and complete O&M tools in a single digital environment.

SOFAR Cloud was designed for integrators, distributors, and owners seeking more accurate diagnostics, faster navigation, streamlined workflows, and features tailored to the real needs of the installation. It represents a decisive step in advancing SOFAR's digital experience globally.

The evolution of monitoring: where we came from and where we are going.

Over the past few years, the brand's systems in Brazil have been monitored through the Solarman platform, a solution widely used in the market that has enabled the construction of a solid monitoring base for thousands of installations.

With the growth of the product line and the introduction of new technologies, the need arose for a proprietary platform capable of offering deeper integrations with the equipment and allowing the implementation of specific SOFAR functionalities.

Sofar presents the PowerEasy line with solutions designed for everyday challenges.

SOFAR Cloud was born precisely from this natural evolution: a tool that expands possibilities, adds new features, and provides greater technical control, while maintaining full compatibility with current models.

All the improvements presented below represent direct advancements compared to the experience currently available to users.

Simplified installation with 4-step commissioning.

The initial setup has been redesigned to be quick and intuitive. In less than a minute, the integrator completes the process, connects the system to the SOFAR Cloud, and enables generation monitoring.

Navigation up to 26% faster

The platform has received a new architecture, making navigation smoother and reducing data loading times, which improves productivity in daily routines.

Three levels of access and greater autonomy for certified integrators.

SOFAR Cloud offers three account types, including the new PRO account, designed for certified integrators who require more permissions for advanced operation and maintenance. Enabling a PRO account is linked to the certification program. Sapphire Sofa, held monthly.

Redesigned interface and more accurate information.

The layout has been completely reorganized, with intelligent filters, an optimized device list, and direct installation search. Data display is now adjusted to the specific inverter model, ensuring an objective reading free from information overload.

New panel with map view.

The installations dashboard now includes a map mode, allowing you to quickly view the geographic distribution of installed projects.

In addition to facilitating the planning of technical visits, this visualization expands opportunities for offering after-sales services, actively monitoring power plants, and identifying new demands for energy solutions, strengthening the relationship with the client throughout the entire system lifecycle.

Local access via Bluetooth, even without internet.

Even in areas without internet access, professionals can consult inverter data directly via Bluetooth, accessing information such as generation, stored energy, and essential parameters.

Exclusive monitoring of the new Split Phase hybrid line.

The debut of the new hybrid line of SOFA It comes with a dedicated dashboard in the SOFAR Cloud, featuring enhanced visualizations and simplified operating modes.

Compatibility, transition, and new products for 2026.

The arrival of SOFAR Cloud also inaugurates a new product cycle. Starting in 2026, all new single-phase inverters with built-in Wi-Fi will be monitored exclusively by SOFAR Cloud, as these models were designed with deeper hardware and platform integration.

For equipment already installed and for models prior to the Split Phase hybrid, nothing changes: current monitoring continues to function normally, and migration to SOFAR Cloud will be optional.

This approach ensures continuity for those already in the ecosystem while simultaneously opening up space for more advanced solutions in future generations of equipment.

Integrated industrial Wi-Fi, high stability, and a 10-year warranty.

The new single-phase models feature an important innovation: integrated industrial Wi-Fi, incorporated directly into the inverter's main board.

The technology utilizes a chip from Espressif, recognized in the industry for its high stability, excellent thermal performance, and reliability even in the most demanding scenarios.

Because it's part of the equipment's electronic structure, the integrated Wi-Fi comes with the same 10-year warranty as the inverter.

This advancement contrasts with the current market scenario for external data loggers, which typically offer around a 2-year warranty. The integration eliminates a common point of failure, reduces maintenance costs, and significantly improves the monitoring experience.

The new SOFAR Cloud platform emerged from specific demands from integrators in the regions where Sofar sells its inverters.

In addition to providing faster and simpler navigation, the platform will give integrators greater autonomy to configure their clients' machine parameters without needing to contact Sofar's support team.

In this regard, Sofar will offer online certification so that integrators can be enabled for the 'PRO Installer' account.

About Sofar

Sofar has already surpassed the milestone of 560 inverters installed in Brazil, consolidating its position as one of the global leaders in photovoltaic and energy storage solutions.

This impressive volume is accompanied by a failure rate of only 0,62%, reinforcing the reliability and quality of the brand's equipment.

In Brazil, the company operates with a broad network of partners and maintains an office with a showroom located on Avenida Paulista in São Paulo, dedicated to practical training, demonstrations of new technologies, and relationship building with partners and clients.

Furthermore, Sofar has a repair center in the interior of São Paulo, structured to handle all warranty cases quickly and efficiently, reinforcing the company's commitment to technical support and excellence in after-sales service.
