A JA Solar announced that it reached sales of 1,4 GW in Brazil in 2022, thus beating, two years in advance, the target established for the country. Furthermore, he stated that he is carrying out a new review of marketing strategies, channels and services in order to align and reproduce global market share world in Brazilian territory.

“This new objective will be supported by JA Solar’s high internal verticalization and enormous production capacity, which will jump from 50 GW to 75 GW annually during 2023,” said Fernando Castro, country manager at JA Solar in Brazil.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the sales objective was achieved based on the excellent performance and quality of the +545 W and +590 W products, proven with several awards, such as RETC and PVEL, additional services, such as a local bonded warehouse and CIF shipping option.
“I also highlight the growth of more than 80% in the Brazilian photovoltaic market compared to 2021 and, most importantly, the excellent customers, partners and professionals we have. In this case, we managed to achieve sales of more than 1,4 GW in 2022, which resulted in growth of more than 10 times compared to sales in 2020”, he explained.
Therefore, for 2023 and 2024, with the entry into production of N-Type modules (50% of the company's entire production capacity), changes to law 14.300, the maturation of new solutions for the DG (distributed generation) segment and, finally , greater focus on DG and centralized plants with reinforcement of the sales team, the company stated that it hopes to maintain the growth rate.
“We hope to reach the target of 14% market share in the market by the end of 2024, always maintaining the focus on excellent customer service and reliability”, concluded Castro.
