A study carried out by Loft, a startup that operates in the real estate market, in partnership with the research company, Offerwise, sought to find out which home items are most desired by residents of Florianópolis (SC).
The survey interviewed 300 residents of the capital of Santa Catarina, from all social classes and age groups, over the age of 18, and was carried out between September 18 and October 11. The margin of error is 5 percentage points, with a confidence level of 90%.
According to the survey, the second most desired item by the municipality's inhabitants is a solar energy system, with 75,7% of the people interviewed showing interest in the equipment.
Photovoltaic technology is second only to the closet, which is on the wish list of 80,2% of those interviewed.
“Solar energy attracts attention because it is something that can impact both electricity bills and environmental concerns,” explains Fábio Takahashi, data manager at Loft.
Air conditioning in all rooms (76,1%), solar or gas heating (75,7%), and doors or windows with acoustic insulation (72,5%) are also items that appear well positioned on the wish list of Florianópolis residents.
