Voltalia announced the signing of nearly 1 GW in new O&M (Operation and Maintenance) contracts for renewable energy projects in Brazil. With these agreements, the company surpassed the global mark of 8,3 GW of capacity under management for third parties.
“I am pleased to announce that we have surpassed the 8 GW mark in operated capacity on behalf of third-party customers. Reaching this milestone almost two years ahead of schedule represents a major step for Voltalia,” said Robert Klein, the company’s global CEO.
The French multinational highlighted that reaching this number has been driven, in particular, by contracts signed in Brazil, where the country accounts for more than three-quarters of the company's total capacity operated for third parties, with particular emphasis on the accelerated growth of the last five years.
“Brazil has played a decisive role in the global consolidation of Voltalia in services, showing that it is possible to grow by combining technical excellence, innovation and purpose,” said Nicolas Thouverez, CEO of Voltalia Brazil and Head of Latam.
