During COP30, the ABSOLAR The Brazilian Solar Energy Association (ASO) and the Paraguayan Solar Energy Association (APES) signed a cooperation agreement aimed at expanding collaboration in the development of the solar energy sector and other sustainable solutions between Brazil and Paraguay.
The agreement signed by Rodrigo Sauaia (ABSOLAR) and Pablo Zuccolillo (APES), executive presidents of the two entities, foresee a constant exchange of information, best practices and sustainable solutions for both countries.
According to ABSOLARThe agreement could be a significant boost to accelerating the energy transition based on sustainable technologies.
"With solar energy, storage systems, fleet electrification, and new projects with green hydrogen and data centers, we can, in a short time, make the Brazilian electricity grid even cleaner and more sustainable," commented Sauaia.
The president also emphasized that the ABSOLAR is committed to intensifying collaboration with APES to strengthen bilateral trade.
"The agreement strengthens relations between Brazil and Paraguay, generating opportunities for both markets and promoting social, economic and environmental growth," he concluded.
And in the view of the Paraguayan representative, the cooperation agreement aims to promote the use of solar energy as an engine for economic, social, and environmental development.
