A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) opened a strategic public call for the development of research and innovation projects in green hydrogen.

The goal is accelerate the economy of the country, contributing to the energy transition also through fuel promotion.

The initiative integrates one of the proposals of the 2023-2025 Triennial Work Plan of PNH2 (National Hydrogen Program), coordinated by MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy).

The idea is to make Brazil multiply by seven the volume of annual investments in research and development in relation to 2020 until the year 2025.

The call will cover projects that involve the insertion of renewable hydrogen production systems in an integrated and sustainable way.

In addition, projects with topics related to hydrogen logistics and fuel cell issues (stationary applications, mobile applications, other applications, and unallocated fuel cells), and related discussions will also be included.
