Enel-SP customers will not be the only ones to feel the increase in their electricity bills. In addition to the adjustment already announced by Canal Solar, ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) also authorized tariff corrections for distributors Energisa Sul Sudeste and Energisa Tocantins.
Both distributors will see double-digit increases, well above the accumulated inflation of the last 12 months, which was 5,32%, according to data published by IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics).
In the case of Energisa Sul Sudeste, the average increase will be 19,05%, effective July 12. For high-voltage consumers, the adjustment will be 18,8%, and for low-voltage consumers, the adjustment in the electricity bill will be 19,15%. The decision affects 83 municipalities in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Paraná, impacting approximately 687 thousand consumers.
Energisa Tocantins customers will feel the effects of the adjustment starting July 4, with an average increase of 12,68%. The impact will be 13,25% for high voltage and 12,55% for low voltage. The company is responsible for distributing electricity to more than 478 thousand customers, serving all 139 municipalities in the state.
In addition to the adjustments, the ANEEL also set new regulatory parameters for energy losses from Energisa Tocantins, valid for the period between 2025 and 2029. 1,16% per year will be considered in technical losses on injected energy and 4,27% per year in non-technical losses on the measured market.
