Unlike what is commonly practiced in the solar energy industry, ARaymond has brought yet another innovation to the photovoltaic structures sector by implementing a traceability system in its revolutionary fixing clamps and cable manager.
Typically, fasteners and their components are not identified by serial number, which means that the manufacturer must be identified by checking the material and shape (part design).
Each clip has a unique part number, manufacturing plant and batch, which allows each clip to be identified accurately and in detail, allowing the batch to be fully identified in the event of a problem.
Furthermore, ARaymond also provides the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) which is basically a standardized set of documents and requirements used mainly in the automotive industry to ensure that a supplier can produce series parts consistently according to drawings, technical and regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Among the advantages of having product traceability, we can mention:
- Tracking and quality control: allows each unit to be uniquely identified, making it easier to track manufacturing issues or serial defects. If a batch has defects, the part number helps locate the affected units and prevent them from causing major problems or damage;
- Warranty and technical support: manufacturers use this part number to check whether the product is within the warranty period, which avoids any doubts and gives the customer greater security that this period will be fulfilled correctly.
The arrival of the traceability system ARaymond not only raises industry standards, but also brings greater quality, innovation, reliability, authenticity and monitoring of the origins of each product produced.
