Brasol, whose main shareholders include Siemens and BlackRock, announced the acquisition of 31 photovoltaic plant projects from Raízen in the DG (distributed generation) segment, with nominal installed capacity of up to 128 MWp.

The projects, located in 10 Brazilian states, will be built by Raízen, while Brasol will take over operations upon completion.

The transaction has already received approval from CADE (Administrative Council for Economic Defense), but still depends on the fulfillment of precedent conditions to be finalized.

The acquired assets have lease agreements with Raízen valid until December 2045, which guarantees revenue stability in the long term.

“One of Brasol’s strategies is to invest in solar projects that are already licensed and ready for construction, in addition to acquiring operational assets,” said Ty Eldridge, CEO of Brasol.

According to the executive, Brasol's capital allocation strategy in energy transition infrastructure assets is being a great lever of value for its investors and for partners seeking innovative solutions in executing investments in energy generation, grid connection or storage.
