Canal Solar Country advances in clean energy solutions (1)
In 2021, Brazil became the fifth largest producer of solar energy

We are on an upward curve renewable energy market and she will not back down. Even with the challenges experienced during the pandemic phase and all the inevitable consequences of the period, the Brazil has managed to advance in offering renewable solutions in the energy matrix.

This is vitally important, both for environmental aspect as well as the broad sphere of sustainability and renewal of the energy system available today.

As demand increases and technology becomes more sophisticated, there is a greater need for well-structured regulations that guide practices, providing legal certainty and support for the market to advance to its potential. This is very positive and the movement we were able to witness in the last Intersolar SNorth America.

A broad portfolio of new solutions, innovation and intense investment by the chain that permeates the entire solar energy market. In 2021, Brazil became the fifth largest producer of solar energy – it was in 9th position in 2020.

We ended last year with almost 13 GW of distributed generation in this niche; reaching 18 GW in August, including in this volume, among others, the production of large plants and distributed generation, type of residential consumers who choose to install systems suitable for generating solar energy.

The regulations promoted by the legal framework for micro and mini energy generators approved at the end of 2021, allowing consumers to produce their own energy from renewable sources – such as solar photovoltaic, wind, hydroelectric plants and biomass; and the approval, in August, of another regulation, aimed at the exploration of energy generated at sea (offshore), are essential to bring maturity to the business environment of this market in Brazil.

My partners and I, entrepreneurs in the area of solar energy, have reasons to believe in the local potential and continue investing in the expansion of strategic alliances, cutting-edge technology and diverse activities that further boost the growth curve of alternative energy matrices and their vertices.

We started 2022 determined to overcome any obstacles caused by the health crisis and renewed our vigor by repositioning our company with a bold rebranding, an incentive campaign for installers who represent us on the B2C side and strengthening our value scale in new partnerships for distribution and expansion in the supply of inverters.

As the exclusive representative of Huawei in Brazil, and the main regional representative of the Chinese company on the American continent in the solar energy niche, we have great responsibility in contributing to this market not only in Brazil, which is already more mature in the reality of the continent.

A solar energy is expanding throughout the Americas, but our country is emerging with real possibilities of leading this advance. It is a very intense moment for the sector and for those who work in it and want to be present throughout the territory with greater market share.
