In a strategic initiative aimed at expanding innovation in the national photovoltaic sector, the Descarbonize Soluções Group has entered into a partnership with LONGi. The objective is to distribute the Horizon module line nationwide – equipped with HPBC (Hybrid Passivated Back Contact) technology – which eliminates traditional frontal contacts of solar cells, improving light absorption and conversion efficiency.
Specially developed for residential applications, the series offers modules with efficiency above 23,3%, ensuring high performance even in challenging conditions, such as unfavorable solar incidence angles. Multi-angle absorption, without ribbon blocking, provides gains of up to 2,27% compared to conventional panels.
In addition, Horizon modules significantly reduce risks such as micro-cracks, hot spots and DC arc faults, factors that often compromise the safety and durability of photovoltaic systems. In other words, in addition to being more aesthetically appealing, they are also safer.
Proven efficiency and international certifications
The line also stands out in rigorous reliability and quality tests. The modules have undergone tests such as PID, DML, TC and UV, in addition to being among the winners in real power generation simulations promoted by institutions such as CEA (USA) and GSolar (China).
Weighing between 24,6 kg and 28,5 kg, Horizon models combine lightness and strength, being adaptable to different types of roofs. They also have international ISO and IEC certifications, as well as being produced in world-renowned factories, such as the Jiaxing unit, awarded the Lighthouse Factory seal in November 2023.

Partnership to accelerate the energy transition in Brazil
To Nuno Vercas, CEO of Decarbonize Solutions Group, the agreement with LONGi represents more than the distribution of a product: it is a strategic step towards the consolidation of a safer, more technological and efficient solar market.
“Our partnership with this player in the photovoltaic market goes beyond the fact that they are a AAA-rated company in the sector. What really motivated us was the realization that they are at the forefront of technological development, offering equipment with a lower deterioration rate – which means greater durability and energy generation over time,” he said.
“Their products feature advanced performance features, such as the ability to continue generating energy even when part of the cells are covered. The combination of technological innovation and market excellence was decisive in establishing this partnership,” concluded Verças.
According to Jin Yong, general manager of the SA Representative Office, Brazil is an important country for the promotion of LONGi BC (back contact) technology. “Descarbonize Group is our long-term partner in Brazil, and we are very honored and optimistic about this cooperation.”
In the executive's view, 2025 is a year in which LONGi Brasil will stop being passive and become more active. “We will face the market in a more proactive way, meeting demands with greater reliability and offering each client integrated and personalized solutions.”
“We are working towards sincere and healthy cooperation, which will bring a positive impact to the photovoltaic industry. Our focus is to encourage the market to opt for a more stable investment model, a safer solution and more advanced technology. This is the purpose and importance of our cooperation,” he concluded.
